2024: Beyond the Page

Spanning two floors, the showcase embodied Plus Magazine’s aesthetic and ethos, drawing visitors into a dynamic space where the magazine’s pages gave way to shared cultural discovery.

On the first floor, Plus Magazine took on tangible form, transforming the space into an interactive cultural experience. The latest issue was displayed across tables and shelves, inviting visitors to browse and linger at their own pace. Serene and welcoming, the setting gave the magazine’s editorial vision a physical presence that extended well beyond the printed page.

Beyond the Page marks the culmination of Plus Magazine’s events to date, uniting their defining elements to present the magazine’s first-ever exhibition, where the work of its featured artists stepped fully off the page.

On the lower floor, the event opened into a group exhibition featuring works by artists spotlighted throughout the 2024 issues — Jules de Balincourt, Roberto Gil de Montes, Kohei Nawa, Chantal Joffe, and Rachel Eulena Williams. The space mirrored the magazine’s visual language, with thoughtfully arranged seating that encouraged visitors to slow down, take in the work, and connect with one another. Together, the bookstore and exhibition formed a cohesive whole, reflecting Plus Magazine’s commitment to experiences that are both accessible and transformative.

In collaboration with design company Rarify, the space was furnished with pieces by Carl Hansen & Søn, Fritz Hansen, Heller, Foscarini, Audo Copenhagen, and Kasthall, grounding the exhibition in the same world of art, design, and culture that defines the magazine.
