2024: Beyond the Page

Spanning two floors, this unique showcase brought Plus Magazine’s aesthetic and ethos, creating a dynamic encounter that moved beyond the magazine’s pages and into a realm of shared cultural exploration.

On the first floor, Plus Magazine took on a tangible form, transforming the space into an interactive cultural experience. Here, visitors were invited to immerse themselves in the latest issue, which was thoughtfully displayed across tables and shelves that encouraged discovery and contemplation. This setting went beyond the printed medium, offering a serene and welcoming environment where the magazine’s editorial vision materialized in physical space.

Beyond the Page represents the culmination of Plus Magazine’s past events, uniting their key elements to present its first-ever exhibition featuring the magazine’s featuring artists, transcending the boundaries of the printed page.

On the lower floor, the event shifted into a group exhibition featuring works by artists celebrated in the 2024 issues, including Jules de Balincourt, Roberto Gil de Montes, Kohei Nawa, Chantal Joffe, and Rachel Eulena Williams. This curated space, designed to mirror the magazine’s visual language, was brought to life with thoughtfully positioned seating, inviting visitors to pause, converse, and engage directly with the artworks. Together, the bookstore and exhibition established a cohesive narrative that emphasized Plus Magazine’s commitment to accessible, transformative experiences.

In collaboration with Rarify, a distinguished design company, Plus Magazine elevated the space not only through art but also through the integration of timeless furniture pieces by renowned design brands such as Carl Hansen & Søn, Fritz Hansen, Heller, Foscarini, Audo Copenhagen, and Kasthall. This thoughtful curation underscored Plus Magazine’s dedication to extending its creative vision beyond the pages, seamlessly bridging the spheres of art, design, and culture.
