Sip & Flip Seoul marks Plus Magazine’s inaugural event — a three-day celebration of Issue 5 that turned the magazine into an immersive, open space for discovery and exchange.

The magazine’s pages were spread across tables, inviting visitors to move through the content on their own terms. The format dissolved the distance between reader and publication — an invitation to linger, look closely, and engage with the artists’ work and the magazine’s design as something more than something to be flipped through.

What might have been a conventional launch became something far more resonant, a space where art, storytelling, and culture folded into one another in the heart of Seoul.

A specially curated playlist from DooRooDooRoo, a Korean independent record label, threaded through the entire event, filling the room with sound that felt native to the city and giving the exhibition a pulse of its own.

Seating was arranged with intention, offering each visitor a sense of privacy and ease, and positioned against wide windows that framed sweeping views of Seoul’s skyline. The city felt present in the room, a living backdrop that deepened Issue 5’s exploration of Korean culture and identity, and reminded visitors exactly where they were.

Partnerships with OSULLOC and Boksoondoga brought traditional Korean tea and handcrafted beverages into the space, offering guests a reason to pause and settle in. More than an amenity, it was an extension of the exhibition’s ethos — slowing things down, making room for presence, and turning an event into something genuinely worth staying for.
